Build their adventure Your data, plainly
Your data, plainly.
The formal privacy notice is being prepared with counsel and will live here before launch. Until then, this is the plain-language summary of what we've already promised — it's a promise, not the legal text.
First, the sentence worth screenshotting
- Nothing your children say is captured, ever. There is no microphone in this product — Snib speaks when you press, he never hears the room. That is an engineering fact, not a settings toggle.
- The name you type on our homepage stays on your screen — it is never sent to us.
- No cookies for tracking, no ads, no profiling, no selling or sharing data — ever.
Everything the order form asks — why, and when it goes
| What we ask | Why | When it goes |
|---|---|---|
| The birthday hero’s first name, and how to say it | It’s the heart of the product — Snib calls them by name | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party |
| Their age | Tunes the adventure to 5–7 or 8–11 | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party |
| Their world, and what they’re maddest about | The story is built around it | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party |
| Adventure shape (length · indoor/outdoor · difficulty) | Sizes the games to your space and your herd | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party |
| A favourite toy and a pet’s name (optional) | Cameo roles in the story | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party |
| Guests’ first names | Printed on badges, certificates and invitations — never spoken in audio recordings of other people’s children beyond the ceremony honours you approve in your preview | Used once for your kit’s pieces; gone with the adventure at 14 days — never kept, never reused |
| Siblings’ first names and ages (optional) | So even the little ones get a part that fits | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party |
| Veterans — guests who’ve been to one of these parties before (optional, first names) | They get a named job on the day. You tell us fresh each time, because we keep nothing between parties — we genuinely won’t remember | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party — never carried to the next order |
| The free-text box and any catchphrase | The bit only you know — read by the real person who builds the party | The raw text is deleted once that person has read it into the build record; the record goes with the adventure at 14 days |
| Party date and times | The build clock: preview by 3 days before, changes close 48 hours before | Deleted with the order record, 30 days after the party |
| Your address | Printed on the run-sheet so the hunt fits your home — never published | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party |
| RSVP contact and date | Printed on the invitations, exactly as you type them | Removed with the adventure, 14 days after the party |
| Your email (taken by Stripe at payment) | Your receipt, your preview link, and nothing else — no marketing without a separate, explicit yes | Deleted with the order record, 30 days after the party |
| Payment details | Handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages | They never touch our site at all |
The one retention truth, in a sentence: everything that makes the adventure is removed 14 days after the party; the order record itself (that you bought, when, and how to reach you) is deleted 30 days after the party; guests’ first names are used once for your kit and are never kept or reused. Where other pages say ‘never retained’ or ‘deleted on schedule’, this table is the schedule they mean.
The voice, plainly
- Snib’s voice is a synthesised voice, created with ElevenLabs (our voice processor, under contract) and locked before your party — every word written by people, checked by a person, and fixed before the day. Nothing is generated live, and there is no mode in which he improvises with children.
- First names and pronunciation notes go to ElevenLabs only to make those locked lines, and are deleted on the schedule above.
- Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages; card details never touch our site.
